The Senior Event Marketing Specialist will own event planning, with a strong attention to detail, can manage numerous deadlines, liaise with client speakers, event organizers, and vendors as well as lead internal meetings to support our sales team’s attendance at events.  You will also collaborate with other members of the marketing team as well as external stakeholders to manage events to elevate the Planet DDS brand.  

This is a hybrid position working in our Atlanta, GA office (115 Perimeter Center Place, Atlanta, GA, 30346). There will be occasional travel required.

Job Duties
•    Raise company awareness and reputation through successful event planning and strategy 
•    Create and manage our events calendar and trade show playbook  
•    Serve as the main point of contact for trade show related matters including trade show organizers, vendors, clients for speaking engagements, and internal stakeholders  
•    Maintain swag inventory and booth assets to support successful event execution 
•    Manage trade show logistics including sponsorships, exhibition costs, freight, graphics, electrical, AV, labor, etc.  
•    Facilitate in-person meetings between sales team, prospects, and clients during trade shows 
•    Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
•    Plan pre- and post-event marketing activities to support lead generation at trade shows 
•    Develop and continually improve best practices for trade show attendance, exhibitor opportunities, and sponsorships  
•    Collaborate with marketing demand generation team to support lead management from trade shows 
•    Work closely with sales team to ensure successful attendance at trade shows including leading pre-event kick off meetings for trade show attendees and post-mortem meetings to track event successes, opportunities for improvement, and for future planning purposes 

Skills and Qualifications
•    5-7 years of event/trade show management experience 
•    Proven ability to manage numerous deadlines  
•    Track record of successfully managing exhibits, trade show logistics, budgets, and trade show planning 
•    Proficiency with Cvent event management software and CRM platforms. 
•    Exceptional time management skills 
•    Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills 
•    Strong communications skills both verbal and written  
•    Superior interpersonal skills Project management experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, hospitality, business, or equivalent 
•    Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs
