We are seeking a Product Owner II who leads large and complex projects with significant business impact, exhibiting mastery of Scrum concepts and advanced stakeholder management skills. They work closely with Product Managers, strategic leaders, the engineering team, and other Product Owners to influence and execute the product strategy. The Product Owner III defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), drives continuous improvement initiatives, and navigates organizational dynamics to align cross-functional teams. They also coordinate multiple deliverables across teams and lead the response to customer-reported field issues.

JOB DUTIES 

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and convert them into user stories  
  • Work with Product Manager to execute against a strategic vision for the product  
  • Deep sense of ownership and accountability for the problem solution  
  • Lead large and more complex projects with significant business impact. 
  • Proficiently lead more than one scrum team concurrently. 
  • Mentor and guide junior product owners. 
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. 
  • Begin to develop and leverage project and data visualization tools to create transparency and make informed decisions. 
  • Manage the product backlog: author epics and stories, and actively refine tickets to ensure well documented requirements  
  • Create detailed user acceptance criteria by working with end users and the development teams  
  • Assist with testing and removing blockers during sprint activities; supporting team members as needed to accomplish sprint objectives  
  • Collaboratively drive the execution of the product: participate in the daily stand-up, proactively manage risks, actively and passionately assist the team to resolve product blockers  
  • Navigate organizational dynamics to align cross-functional teams and achieve project objectives. 
  • Establish and drive standards within and across teams. 
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed product decisions. 
  • Coordinate multiple deliverables across teams, actively employing Scrum of Scrums concepts. 
  • Lead the response to customer-reported field issues, ensuring effective communication and timely fixes. 
  • Ability to change scope based on goals and manages tradeoffs across initiatives  
  • Maximize the value addition of the deliverables from the scrum team  

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years in aProduct Ownerrole 
  • Strong analytical skills  
  • Extensive experience with mission critical SaaS product development   
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Expert experience in Agile methodologies and scrum practices 
  • Expert experience working with JIRA and Confluence or equivalent agile development tools. 
  • Expertise in defining and tracking KPIs. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills  
  • Understanding of the business value of development decisions and how they affect the lifecycle of the product  
  • Deep understanding and advocacy for Agile principles and practices  
  • Experience with data analysis and metrics to drive product improvements. 
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Experience mentoring and coaching multiple team members. 
  • Deep product/domain knowledge and ability to influence product strategy. 
  • Proficient in navigating organizational structures to achieve results. 
  • Ability to drive and enforce standards within and across teams. 
  • Experience in coordinating multiple deliverables across teams.  
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills. 
  • BS in a relevant discipline or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
